Welcome to the latest issue of the Cape Charles Happenings©. I have separated the Happenings into two separate issues – one for the calendar and one for the notices. I hope this makes it easier to read and manage. I have done my best to report information accurately, but changes do occur, so call to confirm. Happy reading!

Cape Charles Emporium is open for business six days a week! Located at 316 Mason Avenue, their hours are from Monday, and Wednesday thru Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 noon to 5 p.m. They carry an ever increasing inventory of beach-themed furniture, lots of Cape Charles souvenirs, artwork, jewelry, beachwear, beach accessories, consignment clothing, and are a yarn store. They also rent golf carts, beach carts and fishing poles. It's newest "member" is Paper & Roses, a card, stationery and invitation "spot”. Amidst the cottage furniture, salt water taffy, bathing suits, beach sandals, Cape Charles photography and knitting supplies, Paper & Roses now offers great greeting cards, summer party invitations, cocktail napkins, Crane fine stationery, memo pads, boxed notes, tallies, gift wrap, bookmarks, cocktail & guest napkins, guest books, Mariposa pieces and sand-cast aluminum serve ware designed by Michael Updike.
